DEAR YULETIDE AUTHOR,
First of all, thank you! I'm excited about this year's Yuletide (both writing and receiving!) and I'm sure I will love whatever you write!
Some of my general likes are family, found family, and family feels (probably pretty obvious from some of my prompts here). I love the ways families take care of each other, and how that gets expressed in word and action. These days especially, I tend to enjoy happy endings. Character death makes me sad, and the world feels sad enough already without offing my faves. Hurt/comfort, angst, and terrible things happening are all fair game, so long as they're all right in the end.
More specifically:
House in the Cerulean Sea--Calliope. Calliope is a delightful cat, and I would love her opinion of the goings on in the house. Or of Linus before (or during or after!), or of the children or Arthur or... look. Anything from her point of view would be wonderful. What does she think of all of this?
Newsflesh--Shaun, George, Mahir. In my heart of hearts, I would love these three as an OT3. I know the main pairing of the series may not be everyone's jam, and i get that. It sure surprised me the first time around. But I would love these three together if you can swing it. If you can't--I totally get it. I'd love to have their friendship over the years too. Shaun and Mahir's friendship, independent of George, because it did develop while she was gone. George's ongoing friendship with Mahir. Ideally no villainizing Nandini. She seems great. But an AU where that just... failed to happen? Sounds fine.
Red, White, and Royal Blue--Alex, Henry, June, Bea. Siiiiiiiiblings! I would love to see Bea and June relating to each other as the big sisters of these two idiots. How they deal with their little brothers, text conversations about YOUR BROTHER DID THIS or whatever. ALTERNATIVELY--how these sibling relationships play out when the four of them are toegether, or perhaps how they would play out around a future royal wedding? I love love family stuff. c:
I hope this helps, and i look forward to reading whatever you write! Thank you again!
